Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) are vital to the healthcare team as they are often the first to produce patient results. MLTs use sophisticated biomedical instrumentation, as well as manual procedures, to perform testing and provide results that are essential in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests in the areas of hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis, as assigned; conducts quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses of body fluids such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid; performs blood counts using microscope.
Medical Technologists are the backbone of Medical Laboratories. Medical lab technologies use clinical laboratory tests to diagnose and treat disorders. These modern technicians and pathologists are extremely important to doctors for definitive diagnosis. This growth is due to the increasing demand for diagnostic services and the need for more trained personnel to perform these services. The profession is expected to grow by 15% from 2014 to 2024, which is much faster than the average for all occupations.
  1. Minimum Qualification:- Matric with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) Total Marks of Science Subjects not less than 45%.
  2. Age:- Maximum 35 Years on the last date of applying for admission (Both for Government/Private candidate).
