Pharmacy Technician (Category-B)

Pharmacy Technicians support the work of pharmacists and other health professionals by performing a variety of pharmacy related functions including dispensing prescription drugs and other medical devices to patients and instructing on their use.
  1. Preparing new prescription and refill requests for patients.
  2. Dispensing medication to patients per the prescription, or provider's orders.
  3. Packing and labeling a prescribed medication.
  4. Processing insurance claims.
  5. Tracking inventory.
  6. Preparing compounded medications using sterile and non-sterile processes.
After passing two years exams, qualified is eligible for a job in public sector of grade 14 in Pakistan, and can get a medical store license to open in any area of Pakistan. Pharmacists primarily work in pharmacies or pharmaceutical companies in Pakistan. The students get excellent jobs after the completion of their course. They find various job opportunities in hospitals, researchers, lecturers, medical writers, or clinical pharmacists.
The students should has passed Matric with science subjects in order gain admission. There is no age limit in for admission in this course and students from all age group s are welcomed to apply.
