Dispenser
Dispenser will support a registered Pharmacist with the preparation and
dispensing of
prescription medications. Your role primarily involves ensuring that
prescriptions are filed
correctly and delivered to patients and healthcare providers. Dispenser is a
field of space
that specializes in the medium and large scale. The fundamental task is to
better manage
patients. Because the descipline of dispenser is closely related psychology,
technology and
culture it is necessary for students.
Prepare and label medicines in accordance to the doctor's prescription;
dispense and
counsel the patient on the prescribed medicines. Carry out 'double checking'
on the
prescription and medicines prepared by other trained dispenser before
dispensing them to
the patients.
Lot of dispensers in Pakistan are even practicing as medical doctors in
remote areas.
Some of them have also got DHMS diploma for adding prefix of doctor with
their name and
they are practicing as allopathic doctors. A dispenser can get job in
government sector
hospitals. Dispensers can serve in private hospitals and clinics. They can
visit homes
for injecting injections and drips. Lot of government jobs are announced
every years for
dispenser diploma holders. They can join Pak army, navy and PAF. They may
get jobs in
1122. NGO sector also recruits qualified dispensers or compounders for their
various
welfare projects in health sector.Some times pharmaceutical companies also
offer jobs to
dispensers.
- Minimum Qualification:- Matric with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) Total Marks of Science Subjects not less than 45%.
- Age:- Maximum 35 Years on the last date of applying for admission (Both for Government/Private candidate).
